  About Us
The First Tee of the Quad Cities is a chapter of The First Tee program which provides greater access for underprivileged and disadvantaged youth in the Quad Cities. In its eighth year of operation at the newly remodeled Red Hawk Golf Course, kids will be taught the joy of golf and its lessons in integrity and other positive behavior skills. By learning the basic athletic and social skills associated with golf, young people who otherwise may not be able to afford or be exposed to the lessons it can teach, now have the opportunity to reap benefits that will prove useful throughout their lives. The First Tee of the Quad Cities is a non-profit group organized as a 501-(c)(3) corporation whose soul purpose is to promote the game of golf and it’s great virtues to the youth of the Quad Cities.

Dear Parent or Guardian
Since the fees we charge only offset less than 40% of the true cost of participation. We ask you to look into the Birdies for charity program of the John Deere Classic.
You may pick up a Birdies for Charity pledge form at Duck Creek, Emeis or Red Hawk Golf Courses.
